Anyone attending the Portland OR swap meet?
Is anyone else attending the swap meet in Portland Oregon this weekend?
I have forgotten the name of the gentleman that was vending there last year with a bunch of Hudson parts. Other than him though there wasn't much to be found. Perhaps it was the same guy I got a 'Save a Hudson' ball cap from years ago.

Do you have any information on time and place?0

The Gentleman you mentioned was probably Jim Harmon. He was there last year with lots of Hudson stuff, and a blue '49 or '50 Coupe for sale. Its a safe bet he'll be there again this year, --- at least he said he would be when I dropped in for a visit around New Years day. He's the one I got my "Save a Hudson" cap from too.

Approx. 8 - 10,000 vendors when you combine the Expo swap meet with the adjacent & coincidental Portland International Raceway swap meet.0 -
Here's Jim's '49 he had for sale last year, set up at his booth on the race track, during the Portland meet last year. That's my truck and trailer parked in the background, with the Hudson logos on the sides.
This is a huge meet --- takes all three days to see it all, and very good legs !! A lot of Guys were using bicycles to tour the racetrack vending area, and the odd little "mini" chopper, or electric vehicle. Its a venu well worth attending.0 -
I talked to Jim this morning on his cell phone and, yes indeed, he was already there at the swap meet.

Hmm, I didn't see his setup on the racetrack today so perhaps he's in the Expo site which opens on Friday. There are a lot more vendors here this year so perhaps I just missed him. The only major Hudson parts I saw were a pair of front fenders for an early setdown. No particulars or prices posted.0
