Thanks Dan. For information of all, I am working on a 49 Super Six coupe, which has had a '51 Pacemaker engine fitted, but has the original '49 262 head, which lowers the compression ratio somewhat, resulting in burnt valves and overheating, as the water holes don't line up. Also has the dual throat carb, so is probably running worng too. I have not had it running. clutch was dry, and stuck, so I filled it with A.T.F., wedged the pedal down, turned the engine over often, and after a month, it has come free.0
