Hello,
Does anyone know of company that makes a belt drive starter generator? I want to put one on a 1909 Hudson and drive it off the fly wheel.

I have one on my Cub Cadet 149 tractor (about 1972 or so). It is 12 volt. It is pretty weak, even though the engine has a compression release, so I am not at all sure it would be strong enough for your purpose.0

Check the Maxwell sites, several are adding belt over flywheel starter generators to their early cars0
