OK, boys and girls, have you been looking for a Hudson pickup??? One of our Dust Bowl chapter members, Dick Carder, is having an auction on Sunday, 9 April at noon sharp. He and Lois are moving into a smaller house. Lots of furniture, household goods and that, but the star of this event is a 1946 Hudson Pickup.

It is green, with a 300 Ford straight six engine and automatic tranny. It is a superb runner and looks good, too. I have no idea what he's looking to get for it, so don't ask. This is not an over-restored truck. It is a good-looking, very presentable and streetable Hudson truck. Nice paint and interior. Everything that's supposed to be on the truck is on the truck. Dick was our former chapter president. There are also some Stepdown parts, tools, compressor, and other shop items up for auction, too. Address is 3912 Lawn Drive, Del City, OK. Find it on Google Maps or similar method. East suburban Oklahoma City.

  • Bumping it up.
  • Truck sold for $8,950.00. Hell of a bargain. Of course, did I have the $$$ in my pocket? No.

Mind you, this is for a '46 that car be driven anywhere, with a 300 Ford Six, auto, air conditioning, leather buckets, and a Chrysler torsion bar suspension.
