Electrical problem

When I first start the jet, the gas gauge and temperature gauge read correctly, but as I drive, the gauges go up, then down and up and down continuously. Any ideas on what is going on?

    IRV is not working after it heats or the ground is loose at the gauges.

    The 5 volt regulator is not stable.   Mounted on the  instrument cluster body.

    I always blame stuff like that on Gremlins....
