Twin H Springs

in HUDSON
on a 52 hornet with twin h there is a spring on the bottom of the carbs. About inch and a half long maybe half inch round mine are just hanging there where do they hook up to ?  Thanks for any help  John

    Most likely is the ones that hook on the connector on the rods that operate the carb butterflies to keep them totally 'closed' when the accelerator is up. They go toward the left side of the car.

    Here, at carb bottom, is the spring on mine going toward the slip-pull on the operating rod.

    Thanks Richard that's them both are broken will have to source some who ever had this they were hell on springs have to get some for underneath to
