What is the best heavy oil to use in the differential?

Ken U-Tx said:Any GL-4 90 EP oil is good, but avoid GL-5, as the high sulphur in the GL-5 will eat the bronze spider gear thrust washers and bushings! Royal Purple is also rated as "yellow metal safe". Castrol Classic 90EP is also good. If you drive your Hudson in cold weather, then 80W-90 is good too.0
