Looking for the correct jack that fits the 49 bumper area.

    Gene, the base for the 51-54 is better/safer in my opinion, though you hopefully won't have to use it. It provides more support for the jack shaft.

    Ric, I have a non original jack that came with the car, but it doesn't fit the proper area to lift the car. It's a generic style that grabs under the bumper with a lip. I don't trust this type.
