52´radio installation

Hello,
i´m just in the progress of putting my dashboard (52´Hornet) back together. I´m wondering what  the correct installation of the little brass pieces are (see pictures).

    Marco, Those are eyelet grommets that have nothing to do with your radio. :)

    That is very funny.......sometimes :/ ....on my car there are some more "improvements" made by the former owner. But look at the pictures...the eyelet grommets have the perfect fit for the knobs. And they were greased :). So i will throw them away. Probably i will have to ask some more silly questions in the next couple of weeks. Starting to put the interior back in the car in the next days.
