vacuum advance problems 46 Hudson six
I finally got my 46 Hudson super six running and after about 20 minutes on the road it overheated. Took the vacuum advance off and it seems real stiff and does not rotate the distributor. Also I am not sure if I am getting enough vacuum from the carburator. Where can I get a new vacuum advance canister (only marking on it are 8 A)?? Is the plunger suppose to be real stiff??
Even more so am I chasing the right problem for the overheating. Right now the distributor will not move with the current vacuum advance and hookup to the carburator. I would love if someone could help me out of this problem now that the weather has turned so nice. Mainly WHERE CAN I GET A NEW VACUUM ADVANCE?? Thanks .....JR new guy
