1922 Hudson Firetruck up and running.

Dear Fellow members,

It has taken me since last National meet to get my 1922 hudson Firetruck up and running. I had spun the pion bearings just prior to leaving for Reno. I had AAA help load the firetruck onto my car trailor. Then we were off to Reno. I was not able to drive it, but it was there because I had promised several members to have it for display. I took it out for test drive today and there is no grinding sound from the rear-end. As you would say, I am a happy camper tonight. I will have my firetruck at the Western Regional Meet in Ontario, Ca.

I would like to thank one and all who had a hand in helping me diagnoise my problem and the help that I received from Geoff Clark, Ocar Bearing of North Carolina, Bill Albright, Perry Spring, and my son-in-law Kenny. What a club and with all the help out there, anything can be fixed. It just takes time and perserviance to overcome the problems.
