I need the part that the steering wheel mounts to.this car has been setting sents 1951 in the dry. it run great. If any one could help let me know. 931-638-7676

    Are you speaking of the steering shaft?  Or the metal hub of the wheel (with spokes) that fits over the shaft, and to which the wooden rim is mounted?

    You need the steering wheel hub. They’re diecast (pot metal) and crack and the wheel just spins.
    A couple of members have reproduced them out of better material. I’m sure someone will answer you.
