what size  wrench or socket fits the nut that holds the harmonic balancer on the end of the crank on a 1937 thru 1947 straight eight motor ? thanks

    1 1/2,  I had to buy it as a 3/4 drive and then buy a 1/2 drive adapter.

    I have it in half inch drive

    Bought my box wrench from ACE hardware, 1/2” drive socket at Harbor Freight.

    napa had the  one and a half inch socket with half inch drive for under 9.00 thanks guys for your help.

    I think it turns to the left not the right to remove
