Should put some green spray paint on the balancer. Cause after $200 bones you wont have much green left over0

Ken Cates is the lister; its in limbo whether he'll be the SELLER.0

Considering how rare these are, I bet someone snags it. Here's one guy holding on to his $200, but at the same time, I don't see anyone offering one up for sale, cheaper, either.
What Ken could have done, is perhaps blasted, and painted the pulley, and maybe the $200 price would have been met with a lot less resistance...0 -
hudsonkid, yeah, I agree; only if he had painted it w/liquid-GOLD, now that would have helped tremendously
hehe
ONE alternative: on this website, one can have an aluminum pulley made to one's specs

As a 2nd ALTERNATIVE, and quoting from an email I rec'd, "The chevy fluid balancer set out about 1/2" or more from the front of the engine. It will not line up with the stock Hudson accessories. I used the pulleys from a short water pump 327 (62 to 67) on the top and bottom. I also had to install a 1/2" spacer between the water pump flange and the back side of the water pump pulley, spacing it closer to the radiator so it would line up with the crankshaft. I then made a new bracket to mount an alternator in place of the generator.
With this setup I cannot run an engine-driven fan off the water pump pulley. It only sits about 1/4" behind the radiator. I added two electric puller fans below the water pump pulley but there is room on the front side of mine to add additional fans if need behind the grille. Next time I will have this extra amount trimmed off the balancer snout so it tucks in on the motor closer so I do not have to add the 1/2" spacer. I believe that I had my crankshaft turned .062" smaller diameter but had this smaller front snout made .200" longer towards the timing chain gear area so I could do away with the added spacer-seal that Hudson used...."
A 3rd ALTERNATIVE, which I'm considering is opening up (machine shop) the inside of the Chevy fluid dampener so that it'll slip snugly over the unmolested Hudson crank.0
