My National catalog lists the following for pinion seal: 50812 1948 w/cone type dirt shield. 50757 1948-49 w/flat dirt shield. And 6487 for 1950-52. And 5778 for 1953 incl Jet. My catalog listings stop at 1953. Gert0

Are all these readily available? I didn't want to pull the seal to check for a number if its going to take awhile to get.0

I did a search on the forum and also Ken Cates and Dave Sollons sites and that was the only number I came up with which was for a 51. I was hoping to do the job today while I have access to a lift if the seal is commonly available0 -
take the measurements as per Geoff to your local parts house and he should be able to pull a replacement off the shelve, better than the old spring, leather original, it worked for me. a few years back. Melvin0
