He might consider installing this drain plug later; a hose slides on for emergency, etc. Sorry, think a 3/8" socket drive fits but am not 100% remembering. This is the lowest drain of 2 on a '53.0

I use a toolbit and put a wrench on it. I can't recall the size at the moment. Just measure what you would need.

3/8" Socket drive is a little too big, but if you have a cheap 2" spare extension, grind it down a little on two sides until it fits in the hole (I think it's about 5/16"). Then you have a specialized (and dedicated) Hudson tool.0
