    It would certainly be nice to see someone truly push “any” Hudson engine forward with modern technology to see what these old engines may be capable of achieving!

    I checked the rules and 68 or "pushrod" engines are the only class for old iron!  So no flatheads.

    It would be very cool if they did a “old school flathead class”, with sub classes of side valve 6’s, sidevalve 8’s, etc.   I bet one would find some rather interesting results come to light!
