wondering what sort of spare parts if any do you folks carry in you Hudson's on long road trips

    Spare distributor, fuel pump, fan belt,  Axle shaft, head gasket. Of course complete tool kit, including wheel puller.   That's about it for the Jet and Hornet.

    Thanks Geoff, for my 39 I have a spare distributor, Fan Belt, Extra cap and rotor, Water pump, starter solenoid ignition coil, O/D solenoid and Generator. And I have a complete tool kit, Im thinking a starter and voltage regulator should round it out?

    Wheel bearings, front and rear, especially if you have the 1952 and older rear axle.

    Fuses of every type that fits your car.  Ignition points.  Taillight and headlight bulbs.  Condensers (several of them, given the track record of new ones nowadays).
