    I believe this is a '53, not a '51 as advertised.

    Since it seems to have the integrated balancing tube its probably off a 55. May have been in the 53 he is selling but the intake looks to be a 55.

    Yes he broke the flange. Better be sure you can get someone to weld cast iron before putting a bid on that.

    Jeez, you can almost see pry bar and hammer marks on it. He obviously used some force before that last bolt was out, or else he wouldn't have sheared off that entire flange like he did.

    Any competent welder can repair the flange. I have done it several times in the past and had no problems. The trick in in the prep.
