    No. Most states don't (and never did) allow red lights on the front of a  vehicle.

    I wrote the vendor of the eBay auction selling the 1936 Hudson hood ornament.  I quoted a few lines from page 76 of the book, "Hudson-Essex-Terraplane Mascots-Hood Ornaments and Trademarks," by Walter Harris that explains the difference between the '36 Hudson ornaments and the Terraplane ones.  He wrote me back and said he'll change the description as a Hudson part only.  By the way, it's interesting to see what someone on Amazon is trying to get for the Hudson hood ornament book!  https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0972738339?pf_rd_r=KVZNN1VYQM4AZGRJ4YT2&pf_rd_p=edaba0ee-c2fe-4124-9f5d-b31d6b1bfb
