Factory Tail lights?

This is a claimed 52 2 door. Did Hudson Cross over the tail lights like this ? It has a 53 hood and ornament as well. I’m curious about the rear bumper and trunk mounted license plate holder as well. It all looks very odd.

    Looks like it is probably a 53 Wasp that someone added 48-51 taillights to. The tall tail lights were last uses in 1951, Hare in the states. The lower tail lights were only used in 52-53 on short wheelbase cars. The trunk ornament a short wheelbase item as well.

    Looks like a previous owner was really nervous about getting rear ended!
