looking for a source for the center chrome strip that holds the hood sides together or if anyone has a extra for sale. thank you

The Mack Truck hinge that was traditionally recommended for use in the '37 Hudson or Terraplane, was part #40 M12 P23100. While you're at the parts department, ask to see a # 4QM12P5 from the "B" model Mack as a possibility....
