Front Wheel bearings for a 1923 Hudson
My Hudson uses 415 and 315 Timken wheel bearings.  I have been able to find some 415's but can't seem to locate any 315 bearings.  Does anyone know what other bearing number would replace the 315?

I mentioned I have a complete set, but will be dear as I want to sell them all. Get an electronic copy of the Timken brg book. Plenty of brgs there that you can use. You may have to get a machine shop to make and install a sleeve to use a smaller diam brg, or better get them to bush the stub axle. The stub axles always seem to wear more. Sometimes the only difference in bearing numbers is a radius. Good luck0

Hello Barry willing to buy your complete set. Do you have more than one?One of my friends said that the bearings need a race. I don't see a race in the old bearing that I removed. Is it possible that the race is embedded inside the wheel hub and I don't see it? Or does the wheel hub act as the race?Robertrhurst@nternet.com0
