I recently purchased a "rim spreader" to allow me to mount the new Coker tire I bought on my 1929 Hudson Super Six with demountable rims. Frankly, I had never seen such a tool; those who know such things would agree that it is a strange (but useful) contraption without which you could not perform the task of mounting or removing a tire from such a rim (used on spoke wheels such as my 1929. What I didn't expect is that when I opened the box, the darn thing leapt out and started to dance for me! It twirled and contorted like only a trained professional ever could... check out the photos and see for yourself!
