clutchs............ ugh !!!!!
hi everyone, i would like to know. in a post on here a guy said that he pulled the seat and the plate under the carpet to re&re the cluch. is that a good way when you have no hoist ??? i had all kinds of fun with a empty clutch... i just kept up a regular flushing of kerosene then type f fluid. but what i did not do was after the clutch aired out and was semi dry (1-2 days) was make up for the fluid that needed to soak back into the corks. added 7 oz. and/or 8 depending on how long it sat plug out and at 12 o,clock pos. the trans mount is replaced and motor mounts on the way. runs much better, and front mounts should be bonus, they are hard and cracking. any info on that way to change clutch, please post here, thank you and, hi jon, we have not talked here for awile.

It is easier to take the floor out than to try and remove the tranny with the car up on a hoist. You can either run the car up on ramps, or jack it up and sit the axle on stands to get some height. You have to take the bell housing and transmission out as a unit, so you need access to the top bolts, and having the floor out makes things much easier. Good luck,

thank you, i am running it for the next 4-5 months and flushing the middle of each month. so not to stop it on a long week-end 4 the cruise nites here. this car gets surrounded when i pull in, every one loves the coupe body and ask me if i chopped the roof, from some angles it looks like that and i love that. then they say -hudson, oh they have lots of problems - lol......0
