    That is a 1956 Hornet Special  short wheelbase, with the AMC 250 v8.
    All Specials came as a Super, but that has the custom Interior. Might be a special order.

    Well, as they say, obviously they weren't thinking.  IMHO the '56/'57 design was far worse than the Jet debacle that finally took down Hudson.  Richard Arbib designed this mess and I am sure was paid handsomely for it.  At least the '55 Hudsons had some character and were a fairly decent car, although not a real Hudson.  The latest edition of the WTN has a great article on what should have been.

    Here are the concepts that were designed by a guy that was contacted by a number of forum members but he never followed up, too bad as his concepts were at least better than the '56'/'57 real ones.
