Found dream car, '37 TP for sale!
OK, gents, I came across one of my dream cars, a '47 Chrysler New Yorker coupe and I really want it!!! So, now my Terraplane is for sale, no if's, and's, or but's about it. See pictures here: http://community.webshots.com/album/396543552NrVesK
The car is for sale at $10K cash money. I have everything to complete the car, except a couple of small items. The PO spent a lot of money at KGAP, so there are lots of new seals, rubber items, running board covers, mud flaps, and the like. The interior needs completion (headliner and door panels). This is restored to original, 212 w/3-spd and OD. The electrics are 12V with a single-wire GM alternator. This car is new! Bumpers need rechroming (very straight!!). I can deliver to the Nationals if there is at least a 50% deposit down and the balance paid there. Titled and registered in my name, no "funny" paperwork. I've had the car close to two years, and have had my heart set on a '46-'48 Chrysler coupe for many years.
For the full price, I will include many '37 Terraplane advertisements from the day, plus manuals and other paraphanalia. This is a fine car that, quite frankly, I've lost interest in and wish to sell to someone wanting a car that needs extremely little to drive and enjoy! It runs and drives just fine right now, but would need to be transported. The car is in Oklahoma City.
No tire kickers, BS'ers or dreamers. If you want a nice TP 2-door car, this is your opportunity. I MIGHT consider a partial trade plus cash for the TP.
