Free (Used) '50C8 Wiring Harness

I recently replaced the (front) wiring harnesses on my '50C8 and after looking at the old one it is not too bad in many places. If anyone wants them you can have them for shipping cost. It would be a good pattern for a new one or may be better than what you have? Let me know, I thought about tossing it in the trash but if it is of use to anyone I would like to see it used, it has not been hacked up and most of the connectors are still intact except for the Supermatic and OD which I had to reuse.

    That would really be a help to me since the owner before removed a lot of wiring and replaced with the same color wire everywhere... so this could help me quite a bit I'd be interested ... but i have a 51 C8 do you know if this is still the same wiring... if so I live in Los Angeles California... Please contact me.

    Anyone know if this will work? I do not have a '51 wiring diagram.

    the problem is the layout, not the shematic. yes it could be made to work. but you really want to avoid re-using the old wiring.

    but to answer the question, the dash will take some work as the gages are moved from center to left and switches rearanged, it should be possible. I worked on successfully putting a 48-50 repro harness into a 52. conversely, you may not have enough wire to put a 51 into a 50.

    If it's determined that the harness can't be easily used on the 51 HC 8, I'd be a taker. I'm have a 58k mile 50 Commodore 8 I'm doing a valve job on. I hope to go to Neb. this summer in it. Thanks,

    I'd be glad to see the wiring go to someone the would be sure to use it... it is after all a 50C8, but thanks for the option.
