Where can I find a new fuel sending unit?

I had to reline the tank because of the gas that's been sitting in it for over 30 years, but the sending unit is beyond repair. Is there a company that makes a good aftermarket sending unit? Thanks.

There are folks who advertise in Hemmings, etc., that they repair these sending units. Otherwise, Dennis Carpenter, Ford repro parts supplier, has one for the Fords that fits the Hudson tank and works well. As I recall, you need to go through a procedure to calibrate it, but it works fine.
  • We have one NOS unit on our webstore. Check it out if it may work for you.

NAPA Auto Parts should be able to supply the defroster hose you need. I purchased mine from there some years back. Just need to know the inside dameter of the hose.
