Re-Assembly

I'm not sure about the bed and the frame Lance but on my '47 C8 sedan I put rubberpads/strips about 1/8th inch thick between the frame and the body mostly in all the areas where bolts go through the body into the frame. The rubber sheet came off a printing press roller and I cut it up and glued it to the frame with contact cement so the pads wouldn't shift while I was lowering the body back onto the chassis. Originally I think the pads were pieces of asbestos....at least that's what they appeared to be and obviouly I wasn't going to put those back.0
