Oil Filter Housing paint help needed
As the pic shows, my oil filter housing needs either high temp clear coat and preserve the patina or, what color/number high heat orange paint would be a close match to the original?
And I seem to recall a decal was on these. Is there a source for the decal?

Brad, Try Valspar gloss red. # 64006. More like a chinese red. The decals you can get from Jim Osborne decals in Georgia.0

If you are going with red then International Harvester red is a close match. If you go with orange then Kubota Orange is a good match. Both can usually be found at a Tractor Supply store.

Just curious, were some years red and some orange or, was it just an aftermarket buyer's choice?0
