Yep. I got the idea when I replaced the struts on my daughter's 2013 Hyundai for her hood. I looked on the internet and saw where a guy had put a pair of these on a Mustang. Attached are photos of the tool I used and the inserts that I installed to attach the struts to trunk lid.0
