Removing the locators on a flywheel

I am looking to have my 1934 Terraplane flywheel refaced and can not remember the best way to remove the three locators. The two round pins knock out easily but the rectangles are proving to be stubborn.

Suggestions appreciated.

Regards. Phil

They are swaged in. You will have to grind off the projections on the front of the fly wheel before you try and punch them out. Then a spot of mig weld to hole them back in.

Thanks Geoff. On this fly wheel, the projections were recessed so I drilled the tops off - same method as removing spot welds and it worked a treat. I looked at other fly wheels that I have and the projections were raised!
