Talk to the McClearys. The jet kings of North America.

I'm 90% sure they are the same as a Hornet. Back in the late 60's and early 70's drag racers used to put Hornet brakes on Jets, and I was told that the Hornet hubs fit the Jet spindles.

I checked with South Shore Bearing in Quincy MA. They have the 6767S for 24$ each US. Their web site is www.SouthShoreBearing.com. I purchased front and rear seals for my 35T from them several years ago. They have been around a long time and apparently still have inventory of old stock.

Thank you! Most helpful. I have had trouble with the brakes grabbing badly, due to grease getting on the lining.

Geoff, If need be I can purchase them and post them to you. If you go to them have them check to postage price with US overseas mail. It takes a while but the US postal service was the least expensive when I shipped rear wheel bearing to folks in Australia about 10 years ago.

Thanks to Tom, my new seals have arrived, and will be fitted this week. I have to wonder why the firm that supplied them refused to even answer my query though. Seems aalot of American people don't realise that New Zealand is not an enemy territory!

You're welcome Geoff, glad I could help. I'd emailed them you would contact them and advised you are in NZ. Surprised me when they replied to my email that they don't ship overseas. Just had to go to the post office, was pretty simple.
