Removing badge

I have a similar situation with a 35 badge.
My removal plan is to carefully use a Dremel or similar to take off the bare minimum of the rivet head that will allow the badge to be removed.
My reattachment plan is to use the rivet stem as a locating pin in conjunction with the correct variety of Sikaflex urethane adhesive on the back of the badge.

Thanks Bob, I was thinking the same thing.
Rocket, I was going to send the badge to Maxwell’s enamels for restoration. For the rest of the chrome parts I still have the chrome place in Utah you recommended to me 👍

You could glue the badge back on.
