I'm just about to sell my Hudson 8 but the condenser has failed.

The buyer is coming to collect it in 2 weeks' time.

Please does anyone know which modern equivalent condenser I can use ?

Any old condenser will do, within the range of .18 to .22 uf.

    Thanks very much, Geoff.

I want the car to go to the new owner running properly.

I've strongly suggested that he joins the HET and gets involved in this Forum.

Thank you very much indeed for all your help over the years, you certainly are the "Wise Old Owl" of the HET.

All the very best to you,

    David.

    Old Fogey,

We have always suggested that the person selling the car pay for a one-year membership to the buyer of the car. That way you don't have to "strongly suggest" they join, you do it for them. I appreciate your participation in this great club, thank you.

Short of hammering my suggestion into his head with a nine pound hammer, I've done my best to persuade him to join both the HET Club and the Railton Club !

I can't join for him because he lives outside the United Kingdom.

If he doesn't join both clubs right away, I'm sure he will first time he hits a problem with the car !

Again, my sincere thanks to all the guys who have helped me out over my 29 happy years of Hudson ownership - you're a great bunch !
