Hudson Power Steering Pulley

My power steering pulley in my 52 Hornet was damaged. Is there a replacement part number I can use or does anyone have one for sale or know where I can get one?

Contact these folks to see if they can source a pulley for you.

Don't know what the damage is, maybe it could be welded and/or trued up in a lathe.

    Hope this helps.

  • Thank you! I’ll check them out. It’s not cracked and the bore/shaft area is all fine. The damage is just the outer lips where the belt sits.

I'm going to take it to a few local machine shops and see if any of them can repair it.

  • Welp, the machine shop got it much closer. But not perfect. Hoping it will be usable like this.

Ill check with Lares as well next

I would have expected them to have done a better job than that. Maybe finesse it with a small Crescent wrench on the lips of the pulley. Give it a try as is and hopefully it won't throw the belt off but I would still try to locate a better one. Did you contact Wildrick Restoration to see if they had one?

  • Not yet. I wanted to see if I could get mine fixed first. That’s my next step to start reaching out to Lares, WRP, and maybe seeing if I can find another shop to give a go on the one I have.
