Amp meter connection

I have a 53 Hornet and would like to install an amp meter. How do I splice this into my electrical system .

The B terminal of the horn relay will have two wires attached to it. One comes from the voltage regualtor B terminal, and the other to the main circuit breaker. Take the one that goes to the circuit breaker and connect it to the ammeter, and then from the other side of the ammeter back to the B terminal of the horn relay.

Just remember to ensure the wire is heavy duty to ensure it doesn't get hot.....a under gauge will likely melt and burn the car cheers ken
