I believe that it is the distance from your home to the destination.

The club's policy on awards, which is contained in the National Meet Manual, doesn't provide specific guidance on long-distance awards with regard to how the distance is calculated. The choice of what kind of awards are given, and how winners are determined, is left up to the host chapter(s). One hopes they will use good judgment in making these choices.



One can argue it both ways ... are you wanting to recognize the person who came from farthest away in a Hudson, or do you want to reward the one who had his Hudson on the road for the most miles between home and the meet? I think the most important thing is to make it clear to the registrants exactly what the award will be based on, so they can enter the appropriate mileage figure.
