pacemaker questions

SN won't help ya with options as the next SN was just the next gum ball out of the machine.
I'd contact the Harry Chrysler museum in Pontiac MI. Give them your SN and they might have some info on it, as they own all the Hudson stuff that was left when they acquired Jeep.
Otherwise, you could ask Alex Burr what options were available, and check the car and see if you have them.0 -

The Pacemaker was the base model in the Hudson line. It had less options, however you could have a Pacemaker "Deluxe" model in 1951. I used to own a 1951 Pacemaker Deluxe Club Coupe (god I wish I had that car back). It had 4 bumper guards in front and had two round backup lights in the rear. It also had dual spotlights...however I suspect they were added later. In addition to whatever Pacemakers and Pacemaker "Deluxe" models came with there would've been whatever dealer options were available to all Hudson buyers.......things like tissue dispensers, cigarette lighters, electric shavers, mini-coolers...whathave you. Outside and inside visors may have been dealer or aftermarket items.......there are factory to dealer bulletins that list what options the factory offered as well as their prices.0 -
You can find out what options were available on your Pacemaker by getting Alex Burr's General Information Handbook for Hudson Built Automobiles CD. He offering it with the Hudson Service Merchandisers CD for only $25.00. It's well worth it.
Here is the thread.
