Air Conditioner Help
Does anyone know where I can get a replacement dryer/receiver for my 1956 Hornet. The Hudson part # is 314-2636.
The first owner didn't want to waste fuel, so he cut the belt when the car was new. Have checked compressor. It still had gas in it and oil in the compressor.
We are going to pump it down on Monday and I thought it would be a good idea to change the dryer.
Thanks for any help!

You could get lucky and find an old stock one, but I wonder if it will still have good desicant in it? I would go to an old fashioned auto parts store that still has printed catalogs and take either the part you need or a good description..IE: the measurements, orientation of inlet/outlet and fitting type and size. I have used this method on several old cars.
