Being both a Hudson and Studebaker lover this engine swap is quite interesting! Looks like someone likes independents together!

I agree, nice looking truck. Those 'rat rodders' love Hudson parts. This Terraplane grill is one example. At the recent 'Back to the 50's' in St. Paul, a guy wanted to know where he could get a set of '49 Super Six tail lights liek mine for a rod he was building. Whatever gets the Hudson cars/parts/name 'out there', I'm all for it.

  • THAT is nice! That's the way a so-called "rat-rod" should look.
  • LOOKS LIKE A 35 OR 36 fORD CAB, BILL A.

A Studerbaker Engine He Should Have Kept It 'all Orignal' And Used A 57 Hudson 327 Lol It Is A Nice Truck
  • I like the whole thing - Stude engine, TP grille, Ford cab (and bed & frame, I'd figure) and probably a Ford 9" rear, way cooll!
  • hello, i seen this at rick sheltons site, contacted him and he said his customer [owner] bought it from e-bay a year ago. very unique, love to take it out for a drive, billy gibbons from zz top has a rat rod p. up like this also. very cool. billys even has an old surf board on the roof. lol. rick is at www.gasallystreetrods.com. i do not remember seeing this before a couple months ago on this link. thanks, dermot.
