I bought a sedan regulator and found that it was nothing like the 54 Hollywood. Then I checked the "Book". Sedans are different than the Hollywood or Conv. I would take Bill up on his offer to rebuild.

Recently BA quoted me @ $ 55.oo for one rebuilt gear box, exchange, plus shpg both ways, I assume.
I just ordered two (2) from Gene Eshelman in Weiser, ID (see Roster), for
$ 32.50 PPD; it sounds like they are easy to rebuild (remove from the door, cut the old rivets out, disassemble and clean, replace the old gear, lube and reassemble w/pop rivet gun, reassemble to the door).
