Little Oiler For Generator ?
I am looking for the little screw in oiler thingies that have the little spring loaded tops so you can oil the generator. I got a couple from a Ford obsolite dealer but they do not work. I thought I have seen a place on here that has them but I can not find. 1929 Hudson, Thanks, Ron

If someone here does not sell you one, call up Restoration Supply. They have them (spring top oil fillers). They stock them in varius shapes and sizes, both press fit and threaded. See page 10 of the catalog, which you can download from there site. I find this to be the best place out side a swap meet to find stuff like this.

McMaster Carr sold them a few years ago. I don't know if they still carry them. Look in their online catalog. Some electric motor repair shops have them also.

Ron, I believe the oil caps you are looking for were made by Gits Brothers in Chicago. They are still very much in business and I think they also have a website. Check and see if they have a distributor in your area. If not you may be able to purchase them directly. Good luck.0
