Looking for an original A/C set-up to put on my 57. Not interested in aftermarket.

Any leads are appreciated.

John O Halloran HET club librarian had a 2-tone green '57 Hornet with factory AC a few years back and sold it. He told me only 88 so equipped cars left the facory in 1957 ordered that way.
  • Whoa, that's a tall order! Have you seen the 56 Hollywood on

ebay? Several pics of the factory A/C for you to view there. It may just

be easier and cheaper to buy that car. Maybe a Nash setup would work for

you. Congrats for trying to keep it original. Good luck.

yep got pictures of the 56 on ebay for reference. My car is indeed rare itself as it is 3-speed OD not automatic. I am fairly certain the Nash version is the same.

I did manage to get a set of the AM AC exterior badges off of ebay this week. Now I just need the rest of it...lol.

Any leads on a factory set-up is most appreciated.

Pretty hard to beat a deal like that- new interior and engine, rare desirable model for $2,500. I'm not a fan of these Hash's but I can still appreciate the history of them. I'd be curious as to how they drive. I know the AMC 327 was a good engine these were fast in their day.
