Hi Folks!

I finally got through all the new configuration issues and a firmware upgrade of the router should have solved the issues with the painstakingly slow image downloads.

It should be much better now - if anyone browsing my site from this forum has experienced the slowness in the last couple of weeks... If you could try the site now and give me some feedback I'll know for sure.

Thanks to all here who have visited the site and spread the word - 4066 unique page hits to the home page and still with less than 2 years under its belt - no search engine submissions or paid advertising - that's not too shabby. :D

The house has sold, the money is safely tucked away and as soon as I find some property with a shop - look out - you'll get sick of all my updates on the 49 project!

    Hi All,

    49C8.Com may be off-line for the next 2 days.

    We're having another un-typical heat wave here in the Seattle area - 97+ yesterday and with no-ac the web servers get too hot. 7:00AM and its 80+ degrees inside my house already!:mad: :rolleyes:

    The site will definitely be back online Sunday evening or Monday at the latest.

    Thanks for all your support - time to go cool off somewhere!

    Boy, you have to be roasting up there with temperatures like that. Our week of 103 to 107 degree days has ended on with a "cold front" and now it will be in the low 90s. We don't have anything like the humidity that you have though. Hang in there.

    Magical Gremlins - everything was fine...I powered down the webservers and when I brought the server online somehow it forgot how to resolve multiple websites hosted from the same IP address!

    Some of my other web sites are still resolving to ypfs.com but I should have it go it so www.49C8.Com should be back online - technology aint it grand!

    I'll have to troubleshoot some more in the next couple of days...
