Dave, I forgot to suggest that you also may want to publish this question to the Super Six e-group at http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/HudsonSuperSix16-29/ . I think you have to join in order to use the site (give your e-mail, password, etc.). They are pretty intensely "into" the 1929-and-earlier Hudson sixes, so may have some tips for you.0

Mt Dave wrote:I like the diamond design on a tire. Bedford has 700/19 tire with that design. Does anyone know if a 700/19 will fit alright under the 29? The tires on the car now are 600-650/19 Thanks Dave[/QUOTE
The tyres will fit okay, but there may be a tendency for them to rub on the inner guard at the rear, and contact the front fender support brace if cornering hard, as they are considerable bigger in diameter. Also the Bedford tyres may be a truck type, which could be harder riding, I would check the ply rating. Originally the Hudson coupe were on 600x19" 6 ply tyres (31 x 6).
