Hudson Meet, August 6, Oak Lawn, Illinois

I'll be there. So will Al James, Linton who's hosting it. Maybe Gus Souza. Some years it's been a phenominal meet. One year we had 2 1928's and a '29 plus a '42 Traveler business sedan that year step-downs were outnumbered by other Hudsons believe it or not. The owner of Dubois Fabrics, Ron is a nice guy and he usually has his '31 Pierce Arrow there. I got my Hudson's upholstery from him wholesale priced.0

I was there last year with a friend. Although we enjoyed seeing the cars, touring the shop and having lunch with everyone, the highlight was my driving a 1950 brougham. Although I can drive cars with a manual trans, I never drove one with a column shift. Three on the tree and a cork clutch...woo hoo! I have a family party to attend that day but will try to stop by before. Hope to see you there.0
