Italia Scores at Pebble Beach

Pleased to announce that Fred Roth's Italia took second place in the Postwar Custom Coachwork Touring class at this year's Pebble Beach concours. Keep your fingers crossed - Fred is hoping to bring the prizewinner to the All California Meet in San Simeon, Sept 15-16. If you haven't registered for the meet yet, add that to the list of good reasons to go!

    It is worth noting that the Italia Fred showed at Pebble Beach was NOT the one he had at the Western Regional. That one is mostly original. The one he took to Pebble Beach is fully restored. (He has two Italias.) First place in his category was taken by a post-war Bently described as the "finest in the world." Congrats to Fred on a real accomplishment!

    Sam, I knew that wasn't the concourse car. I was amazed that he had two Italias!
