At the last minute I decided NOT to drive her, opting to jump in my AMC Concord. I didn't make it 2 miles when a deer jumped out and I hit it on the passenger side. She took out the fender and maybe the door. It looks like the Hornet is on hold until I can get this thing fixed, as the headlight is signaling airplanes. There is a picture of my Concord on Hudsonkid's "DOC'S Meet". It is in the background.....sob.....

    actually that was lunch's mother... they do look alot alike;)

    lunch had slipped into the woods and can't be seen in that picture but in another month and lunch will be ready:)

    sorry niels, no sheep in the neighborhood, just hogs and cattle.there are some llamas down the road though.



    despite the omen, the trip was uneventful except for discovering the new ice cream stand was open:D

    Drove the 47 Pickup to the station to get some kero to clean some 46 Pickup parts. Then took the 52 Hornet this afternoon to the bus garage to do a soccer team run. The Commadore and the Terraplane didn't get exercised today. Maybe tomorrow.
